Tammie grew up in Jasper, a small town in northwest Alabama. She was raised by her hardworking, self-sacrificing single mother. Tammie has one older sister, Valerie, who still lives in Alabama.

After many years, school transfers, and major changes, Tammie is now a proud business graduate from Jacksonville State University. Tammie was thrilled to receive Outstanding Management Graduate for her graduating class.

After spending many years in Alabama, Tammie  relocated to Charleston, South Carolina. Tammie fell in love with the lowcountry area and now feels that this area is her adopted hometown. Currently she lives in a small town in Allendale County.

Tammie enjoys travel, loves almost all things Disney, scrap booking, camping, karaoke and loves reading. Tammie began her love affair with books when she began her first summer reading program at the Walker County Library.
